When the Tamaruke breeding program began over 40 years ago, the goal was never to breed dogs simply because they were fashionable.

Every decision was guided by long-term thinking.

Temperament, health, sound structure, trainability, genetic diversity and suitability as family companions have always been the priorities. These qualities cannot be created in a single generation. They are developed over many generations through careful selection, observation and continual refinement. The genetic strength has been a considered focus as part of our Breed Development This is far removed from the breeding of an Öodle"(IE- A Labradoodle, Spoodle. Groodle etc)
