At Ellington, we believe every Tamaruke deserves to grow up as a much-loved member of a family.

That's why we created our Guardian Care Home Program.

Rather than keeping all of our future breeding Tamarukes here at Ellington, carefully selected puppies are placed with approved Guardian Families where they enjoy everything a family companion should—love, individual attention, daily adventures and a home of their own.

Our Guardian Families become an important part of the Tamaruke story.

They provide a wonderful home while helping preserve and develop the Tamaruke Breed for future generations.

What is a Guardian Care Home?

A Guardian Care Home is a permanent family home for one of our carefully selected future breeding Tamarukes.

There is no purchase price for the dog. Instead, the Guardian Family agrees to care for their Tamaruke as a treasured companion while making them available to return to us for health assessments and, when required, for their breeding commitments.

Once those commitments are complete, the Tamaruke remains with their Guardian Family for the rest of their life as their much-loved companion.

We provide comprehensive information and advice, ongoing support, and are always available to answer questions throughout your Tamaruke's life.

We work closely with our Guardian Families to ensure every Tamaruke receives the very best care, while making the breeding process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Ideally, families live within a reasonable travelling distance of Ellington so breeding commitments and routine health checks can be managed easily.
